2. Have you experienced any of the following: unexplained weight loss, recurrent vomiting, persistent daily diarrhoea, severe abdominal pain or abdominal pain waking you at night?
3. Do you have a family history of bowel cancer, coeliac disease, crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis?
4. Have you had any rectal bleeding or black coloured stools?
5. Are you aware there is a good chance the cause or causes of your irritable bowel may not be identified through this blood test. Will you be sure to visit your GP to discuss symptoms, have an examination and to consider other causes of your irritable bowel which may include a referral for a colonoscopy?
